Business Identity Feb 16, 2017 Visual Media 130 Brother Stucki Program(s) Tools Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Objective Create a logo for a company/service/organization and establish a visual identity across documents. Process When designing a logo for a video game company, you have to take into account that, most of the people you market to are quite “techy”, and play futuristic shooter first person shooter type games. So, I knew I needed to create a logo that gives an edgy, kind of robot dystopian feel. I created the interlocking G’s in Adobe Illustrator then added the silver color and the green glow. After creating the logo, I used InDesign to create the letterhead and the business cards. 4 5
- 4. Montage Feb 7, 2017 Visual Media 130 Brother Stucki Program(s) Tools Adobe InDesign, Photoshop Objective Design a spiritual poster montage using the blend of im- ages and type. Process For this I chose my favorite picture of Christ along with one of my favorite quotes. Then all that was left was do incorporate a picture that went along with the quote. I envisioned a picture of Christs hand in the top right acting as if he was trying to lift someone up. Then, someone appearing broken spiritually in the bottom left, needing lifted up. After searching the web I decided to use a picture of myself at my grandmothers grave. Then, I used photoshop to cut and feather the images and blend them together, then InDesign for the quote. 6 7

Process The website I would be creating would be for the same company I created a logo for. So I visited websites similar to the one I would be making to get some ideas. After creating an idea for a layout, I mapped it out using a grid in InDesign. I created about 3 different layouts. After deciding on one, I found pictures online to put on the webpage. Then organized everything in Photoshop. 8 9

Photodesign Feb 2, 2017 Visual Media 130 Brother Stucki Program(s) Tools Photoshop Objective Create a full-bleed photo design using text and graphic el- ements to demonstrate skill in Photoshop and use of color. Process I took various photos around a local gym I go to, and figured I would incorporate a mtivational theme to this project. The gym has a monochromatic red color scheme with most of their machines and racks being painted red, and I happened to be wearing black and red shorts. So, I decided to do a black and white photo, with the red accentuated. I uploaded the photo in photoshop and out lined the things I wanted to keep in color and layered them to apply filters. Then I gave a radial gradient to the whole photo. 10 11

Process People generally work out for two different goals; to get bigger, or to get skinner. I decided to create an inforgraphic to help give some basic knowledge for how to workout depending on which goal youre working towards. I created all images in Adobe Illustrator then organized it and created the text boxes in Indesign. 12 13

Brochure March 25, 2017 Visual Media 130 Brother Stucki Program(s) Tools Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Objective Create a Brochure incorporating things learned from photoshop, Indesign, and illustrator Process After deciding to create a brochure for a personal trainer, I found the pictures online and edited them using photoshop. I created a new fitness logo in Illustrator, then organized everything in indesign while using different tools for my text boxes such as wrapping. 14 15

Prezi Presentation Jan 24, 2017 Visual Media 130 Brother Stucki Program(s) Tools Prezi Objective Create an instructional presentation using the Prezi soft- ware to demonstrate it’s features and capabilities. Process The PC game League of Legends had an unprecedented amount of growth between its inception and its 3rd year. So, it provided the perfect material to make a prezi presentation on. I started out with an introduction slide on a plain grey background, on what League of Legends is. After that I visit various points the gaming platform has many other games do not. Process I used photoshop to combine a black and white picture of mine and a picture of a black and white open field with a sky and mountain range behind it. After I completed the photoshop, I created the text boxes and the title using InDesign. 18 19
