VeloMetro asked these questions.

Can we have car functionality,
without being a car?
What’s the best way to bring
them into common use?
The VeloMetro solution:

For urban use, our velomobile replaces cars.

Editor's Notes

  • #2 VeloMetro builds vehicles that provide car functionality without being a car. Rather than selling them we share them in urban cores. Our goal is to make urban mobility more inclusive and affordable to create a strong consumer brand we can take around the globe.
  • #3 Our velomobile is built under NA electric cycle regulations. It’s inclusive because anyone can ride it whether you have a drivers’ license, or not. It’s highly maneuverable, and rides on roads or bikeways or bike lanes, and we built it specifically for sharing.

  • #6 VeloMetro is a game changer for the sharing economy and our goal is to be a big part of it.
  • #9 We’ve built a complete ecosystem with our own vehicle, share network system, and service brand. Our first betas are nearing completion, and our first pilot fleets will start in 2016.
