• He is like a bird in flight:
• "The Spirit of God was
hovering over over the
waters." (Genesis 1:2)
• The activity and
presence of the Spirit
is like a hovering
mother bird powerful
and gentle, bringing
new life into being.

closely related to Jesus and

The Gifts of the
Holy Spirit

heaven. It was like a strong wind
blowing. It filled the whole house
where they were sitting.They saw
something that looked like tongues
of fire.The flames separated and
settled on each of them.All of
them were filled with the Holy
Spirit.They began to speak in
languages they had not known
before.The Spirit gave them the
ability to do this.”

were healed.
• They set people free from
evils spirits.
• When they laid hands on
other believers they too
received the Holy Spirit.
