  Title is boringand is the same font as the rest of the text on the page. The title also covers the person on the front cover’s head. The title doesn’t really stand out either. Lots of space left. No main feature all the coverlines are the same size. Front Cover The mise en scene isn’t very good. It doesn’t show that it’s a college magazine because of all the cars in the background. It would have been better if he was stood in front of the college doors or sat in a classroom so the mise en scene was related to the magazine’s contents. Coverlines are too long and should just be short and simple. Same size as the coverlines.

  Font is different thatthe coverlines and the title is behind the girl’s head. It also stands out. Coverlines are short and to the point. There is a main headline that is the biggest coverline on the page and is central to grab attention. Front Cover All space is being used up. The background of the mise en scene is plain so it doesn’t divert the readers attention. The use of the megaphone could suggest it’s a magazine to do with music also because she’s screaming it’s almost like she’s saying “I want people to know who I am”. Issue number, date on sale and price are not the smallest on the page and aren’t the size of the coverlines.

  This doesn’t really stand outand the page looks boring. Only grouped into two different categories so harder for the reader to find articles they’re interested in. Only one colour is used and the article titles don’t stand out. Contents Page Page number should be on the left hand side before the article name. The layout is boring and doesn’t look very professional. All the pictures are in a line. Also the article name is on the image instead of just the page number.

  Contents Page There aremultiple colours used so this is more visually attractive. It’s also good because it makes certain things stand out. There are more categories so it will be easier for the reader to find an article that they’re interested in reading. The magazine title and contents banner now stand out more because they’re in a bigger font and placed next to each other instead of on top of each other. The layout is now better and there are pictures placed all over the page and the pages are all different sizes. Page numbers are on the left hand side and they’re a different colour so they stand out.
