My Advert Proposal!

     By Mariam Sheriff
The Product…
    I have chosen to advertise R
     Rihanna’s perfume ‘Reb’l Fleur’
 I have chosen to advertise
     Reb’l Fleur because the
     perfume industry is very varied
     and I’d like Rihanna ’s
perfume to be included as it
isn’t very popular as the other
     perfumes branded by
     celebrities.
 Another reason why I have
     chosen to advertise this
     product is because the perfume
     industry is big business, very
big. So the more common and
known it is the faster and
     easier its products will sell.
 Finally, I have chosen to
     advertise this product as I
think many females of today ’s
     generation would adore this
     perfume especially because of
Ideologies…
 Expensive
 Good Quality
 Worth having
 Provocative]
 Famous- A star
 Successful
 Sweet
 Influential

Slogan: “Buy
 the ‘Reb’l
 Fleur’ and
 you'll be just
 like her!”
Target  For females who see Rihanna as an
Audience inspiration.
 For women who like to smell; good
…  Women who are confident,
independent and don’t need a man to
             boost their self-esteem.
 Women who like to get the most
             pleasure out of life..
 Females that love Rihanna and want
             to be just like her.
 This perfume is mainly targeted at
             wealthy/middle-classed women.
 The stereotypes for this target audience
would be the ‘The Alpha Female’ and
‘The Beauty Bunny’ as both of these
             stereotypes represent confidence,
             independence but gullibility in some
women, which comes under ‘The Beauty
Bunny’ because females of this type
believe that just because there is
science in a beauty product, it will
             work.
            “Buy the ‘Reb’l Fleur’ and
you'll be just like her! ”

Maslow’s Hierarchy of
                Needs…
The need(s) I’ll be targeting for the
  audience is::
* Esteem; self-esteem, confidence and
respect of others as this product would
boost one’s self esteem and it’s also
targeted at those who have respect of
  others, in this case Rihanna.
Persuasive Techniques…
* The persuasive techniques that this advert consists of are:
* ‘Beautiful people ’ the main technique my advert includes
which is: Using good looking models as if telling us we’ll
look like them if we use the product.
* ‘Sex Cells’ which is one of the many techniques my advert
includes which is: If people think the product will make
them more attractive to the opposite sex then they will buy
it, which ‘Rebelle Fleur’ will do.
* Another persuasive technique my advert includes is
‘Repetition’ as many of the images have been repeated
and so has the slogan ,to remain in the memory of my
target audience long after the advertising campaign has
  finished.
* The last persuasive technique my advert includes is ‘The
Snob Appeal’ as this technique suggests that you can be
like the expensively dressed, perfectly shaped, beautiful
person who uses this product. This technique fits best with my
advert as the product is targeted at young, naïve females.
Design…
 ‘Reb’l Fleur comes in a gift set
so if one’s thinking TOO hard
on what present to buy for a
  female friend, then the Reb’l
  Fleur’s the BEST present.
 The box is the perfect shape to
  fit in a small handbag,
  meaning it’s PORTABLE.
 Reb’l Fleur has a blend of
  many different smells which
  are: Fruity, sweet & coconut-
  the MAIN and DOMINATING
smells. It also has a slight
  mix of vanilla, tropical and
  woody scents.
 The shape and design of the
bottle is VERY unique and it
  isn’t similar to most perfume
  bottles. It’s cone-shaped with
  a round top.
