WHAT IS AF SIGNAL GENERATOR ?
• The signal generators which provide sinusoidal &
  square waveforms are called Frequency Signal
  Generators.
• It is operated in range 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

• The output is perfect sine wave.
• It has low distortion and excellent frequency stabilization.
• It has wide frequency range i.e few Hz to 200 kHz.

FRONT PANEL CONTROLS
1. FREQUENCY SELECTOR: This helps in selecting frequency in different ranges. This
   varies frequency in the ratio 1:11 which is non-linear.
2.    FREQUENCY MULTIPLIER: It increases frequency range for more than 5 decades
     from 10 Hz to 1 MHz.
3. AMPLITUDE MULTIPLIER: It attenuates the signal in 3 decades namely x1, x0.1,
   x0.01.
4. SYMMETRY CONTROL: It varies the symmetry of square wave form from 30% to 70%
5. SINE AMPLITUDE: It attenuates the amplitude of square signal.
6. SQUARE AMOLITUDE: It attenuates the amplitude of square signal.
7. FUNCTION SWITCH: It selects the mode required either sine wave output or square
   wave output.
8. SYNC: This terminal provides synchronization of the integral signal with external signal.
9. ON-OFF SWITCH
