Oliver Ingham experimented with different audio recording and editing software to create podcasts. Originally planning to use Audacity, he discovered it could not record audio from his PC. He then tried OBS for recording but the audio was robotic. After adjusting settings, OBS produced clear recordings. However, he found he could further improve audio quality using Adobe Audition filters. He tested various filters and settings. The "Clean Up" filter produced the crispest audio after tweaking levels and settings like the "DeNoise" option. This filter eliminated background noise best. Ingham concluded the edited "Clean Up" filter produced the highest quality audio for his podcasts.
