LEGO
Introduction
■ The name ‘LEGO’ is a combination of the two Danish words “leg godt”, meaning “play well”.
■ This company was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen and it has passed from father to
son and is now owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of the founder (Anon,
2018) .LEGO manufactured wooden toys initially and later changed to plastic LEGO Bricks.I
choose LEGO because LEGO is my favourite company and its products filled my childhood.
I have play LEGO bricks since I ‘m 1 year old. I really appreciate their responsibility to the
customer and its creative spirit. The quality of the plastic which LEGO used are great and
clean. Also, LEGO helped me develop my creativity and spatial thinking. The NXT and EV3
educational robots which they produced are my building and programming teacher as well.
I have joint 3 years of the robotic competition which held by LEGO and FIRST called FLL
and our team won lots of prizes even in world region. I suppose I ‘m very luck that I ‘m
growing up with LEGO.

Conclusion
■ LEGO is a company with Artisan Spirit. It keeps developing from 6-7 employee factory
into world fifth toy company. They followed their core value’ Only the best is good
enough’ and produced high quality toys to the world.Their bricks not only inspire and
develop children’s skills but also be widely used in high school and university’s
education process. Although electronic device and video games affect its business, I
still hope LEGO could develop better very year because I really love this company.
