- 2. Characters! Leslie Burke: She’san adventurous discoverer who likes to do hard challenges. Jesse Oliver Aarons Jr: He likes to use his imagination a lot when he is in sticky situations. May Belle: She is Jesse’s younger sister and is the closest to Jesse because she likes to look up to him.
- 3. Jesse is verycompetitive and also Leslie’s best friend. He ran in a boys race at Lark Creek Elementary and came second. The winner was Leslie. He felt sad when Leslie died.
- 4. Leslie likes toexplore and do tough challenges. But there always has to be a sad side of a story. Leslie was on the rope swing going over the river to the magical land of Terabithia when the rope snapped, sadly Leslie died . It was a big loss for Jesse.
- 5. The new bridge! Thenew bridge is the only way to get to the land of Terabithia now that the rope has snapped. Jesse got people to build the bridge because of the death of Leslie.
- 6. Why this bookwas created! Bridge to Terabithia was created because the author’s son’s friend was walking on the beach and got struck by lightning and died.
- 7. Overall Opinion! The positive about this book is that it paints a picture in your head about what’s happening. The minus was when Leslie died. The interesting part of the book was when the rope snapped
