The Bermuda Triangle is a triangular area in the Atlantic Ocean where numerous ships, aircraft and people have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Some of the notable disappearances include Amelia Earhart, Flight 19, USS Cyclops, and several US Navy Avengers. Natural phenomena like thunderstorms, whirlpools and tidal waves as well as reported issues with compasses and radios in the area have led to theories about why vessels have gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle.
