  I enjoyed thebrown eye experiment because racism is a huge topic in today's society and it hits home in more ways than one. The video was touching to me because along with Jane Elliot, I also want to end racism. It was not surprising to me how upset the blue eyed females were when Jane started talking down to them and making them experience things that they never had before. I wish everyone in America was forced to go through this experiment. In middle school, my mother and I had a falling out because I was becoming friends with a few colored people. She was upset that I would be looked at differently by white people because I associated myself with them. As I grew up, I took it upon myself to make my own decisions. I eventually had to confront her and make it known that I will not be following her in her footsteps. My children and anyone else I come in contact with will know how I feel and I will do anything in my power to help open the eyes of the racist. This video made many good point and I will carry it with me for many years to come.
