 On this presentation I will be outlining the variety of
camera shots and angles we will be using in our
thriller opening. A variety of Camera shots and angles
are important because they create effects and
atmosphere for the audience and we want to show
that we can use a different range of camera shots and
show that we understand them.
Extreme Close Up Shot
We have filmed a few extreme close up shots for our opening thriller as we feel that this
will create tension and atmosphere for the audience and we feel extreme close up shots
will add effect and create a gripping and interesting thriller opening .
Close Up Shot
These kind of camera shots denotes a close up shot which connotes the reaction of a
characters face. We have filmed quite a few close up shots for our thriller opening.
Over the Shoulder Shot
This image denotes an over the shoulder shot this often connotes two people
having a conversation. We have used a couple of over the shoulder shots to create
effect.
High Angle Shot
This image denotes an high angle shot and it connotes victimisation and being
small and powerless. We have used a couple of these types of shots as we have a
victim as our main character.
Long Shot
This image denotes a long shot and connotes a full detailed images of a
character and shows the surrounding environment they are in. We also have a
few long shots to show where the characters are and what they are doing.
Medium Shot
This image denotes a medium shot and connotes a detailed shot off a man
playing an instrument. We have filmed a few medium shots to show detail of
action for our thriller opening.
