Glasgow is engaging key business sectors and academia to support the transition and has hosted circular economy events. It is developing a Circular Economy Routemap and has declared a climate emergency with a goal of reaching net zero by 2030. Next steps include finalizing the routemap, sharing lessons with other Scottish cities, and contributing to the COP26 conference in 2020.
