body fat negatively affects a child’s health or
well being.

• 8.82 % of school children in India are Obese
(Times of India,may28,2017)
• India has second obese children in world wide
(The Indian Express, June 13, 2017)

Which can be obtained from either a graph or percentile
calculator.

Under Weight Less than 5th percentile
Normal or healthy weight 5th to less than 85th percentile
