◦ Service for all citizens.

◦ Provide quality health care at a low cost
◦ Take actions to prevent the spread diseases like malaria,
jaundice etc
Duty of government regarding Health

According to the Constitution of India:
◦ Primary duty of the government is to ensure the welfare of
the people.
◦ Government must safeguard the Right to Life
◦ Government should provide the necessary health service
◦ Provide necessary treatment
PRIVATE HEALTH SERVICE
◦ Owned and operated by doctors privately
◦ Patients have to pay lots of money
◦ Large companies run hospitals and engaged in
manufacturing and selling medicines
Different Private Health Centers
◦ In rural area: Registered Medical practitioners
◦ In urban area: large numbers of doctors, private clinics,
laboratories for ( blood test, X ray, ultrasound) and private
medical shops
