  Numbers! Numbers areall similar! A way to compare all numbers Same as More than Less than Equal to Increasing Order Decreasing Order

  Same As: Two ormore equal amounts Can show they are equal by: Use “=“ sign to show = State “same as” between the numbers
• 4.
  Examples! Three oranges isthe same as three apples 3 = 3 III = III
• 5.
  More than: One amount is larger than the other Can show greater by: “Greater than” > “More than”  “>” symbol
• 6.
  More than Examples 4 is more than 3 4 is greater than 3 4 > 3
• 7.
  Less than One amount is smaller than the other < Can show by: “Less than” “fewer than” “<“ symbol
• 8.
  Less than Examples! 2 Is less than 3 2 < 3 2 Is fewer than 3

  Increasing Order Numbers going from smallest to largest Can be many numbers Also called ascending order

  Increasing Examples 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 5, 20, 29, 32, 37, 41 6, 8, 10, 12, 14

  Decreasing Order Numbers go from larger to smaller Can use as many numbers as possible Also called descending order
