Confusing verbs Borrow – lend
Borrow – lend Bankers  lend  money to their clients to  lend  is to  give something  to somebody for a period of time.  The people who recieve it  must give it back.
Borrow – lend People  borrow  books from libraries to  borrow  is to  take something  from somebody for a period of time.  If you borrow something, you  must give it back.

Confusing verbs Know – Meet
Know - Meet You  meet  somebody for the first time or  in a date To  meet  is when you talk to a person for the first time. To  meet  is also when you see in a date or appointment, or you just encounter, somebody you already know.
Know - Meet When people  meet  they  kiss ,  greet  and/or  shake hands
Know - Meet You  know  somebody when you have already  met  him or her once or more times.  You  know  somebody when  you have information  about him or her usually because you've met before once or more times.
Know - Meet You  know  somebody or something when you have some information about him, her or it, even if you haven't met before. Do you  know  these people?

Waste - Spend Have you ever heard that time is money? So both can be  spent  or  wasted
Waste – Spend To  spend  is to use money or time buying or doing something
Waste – Spend If you  spend  too much money, you’ll  waste  it To  waste  is to spend too much money, too much time or to use some resource more than what is necessary

Carry - Wear You wear something that your body holds. You carry something  that you hold with your hands or your back...or your mouth.

Earn - Win You earn money with your work. You win a competition, money or a prize, with an effort made in a particular moment.
Earn - Win Are they earning or winning?
Confusing verbs Say – Tell
Say-Tell We  say  when we speak for any purpose without having  necessarily anyone hearing us.
Say-Tell We  tell  when: We give oral information about something or someone to another person. We narrate a story.
Say - Tell Choose the best verb Laura ________ her friends that she was going to have a party on Saturday. The teacher _________the class to open the books.
