Faceless Character Costumes
and Character Profiles
Group 24
Character One and three- News reporter’s
The first and second characters that are seen by the
audience is the news reporter who will need to be dressed
smartly and presentably. As they will be sitting at a desk
talking to one of the Government Officials only the top half of
the outfit will be seen so by simply dressing this character in
a smart blouse it will give the representation of a news
reporter. As you can see from the images on the right most
news presenters dress in one block colour to prevent
distraction and to make them stand out in front of the back
drop. We will be dressing our news presenter’s in a bright
blue blouse.
Character Two- Government Official
As our group is made up of 4 17/18 year olds we have decided to
simply use a photo and a voice for the government official in our
teaser trailer, in the bottom right hand corner we have our government
official who we will be voicing in our teaser trailer.
Character Three- Hacker
The name of our film is faceless so the whole idea is that you
never see the face of the hacker only the behind/side of the
character. One feature that we wanted to focus on was the idea of
having the hair as a distinguishing feature of the character which
we incorporated when we were doing our test shots. The
stereotype of ā€˜hackers’ is usually black and dark clothing which we
will be using, our hacker will be wearing black clothing and have
no colour featured.
Character Four- Victim
Our victim is being played by a teenage boy, as he will
be out and about when he is being filmed we want him
to dress very casual and as any other teenage would.
The costume choice we have chosen for him is just
simply jeans and a t-shirt.
