  Sam Tyler's costume Sam’s coat isreally important and is what the viewer will see right up until the end of the film. We had to keep in mind budget, but we did not want to compromise on style as it is a vital piece of clothing.

  Under Sam's coat. Make-up The clothsunder Sam’s coat are less important as they will not be seen. This is why he his only in a plain T and black jeans. His shoes need to be sensible and hard wearing, as we will be on the beach. It is important to think about the actors safety before style. The make up will be simple and only there to darken the under eyes to give the appearance of lack of sleep.

  Liz Peters costume (Sam's mother) Liz isa modern stay at home mum, who spends her day worrying about Sam. By wearing simple boyfriend jeans, a bright yellow knit and bear feet she has a stylish vibe. The bright colours will stand out on camera and be contrasting to what Sam is wearing.

  Mitch Peters costume (Sam’s step-father) Toclearly differentiates Sam, Liz and Mitch, Mitch will be wearing stereotypical work men cloths. The red and black and shirt is very masculine and white shirt and blue rinse jeans add a relaxed and chilled feel to his character.

  Ben’s costume (Sam’s best friend) Benis a really bright and fun character, as we wanted her to be on the edge of reality (is she in Sam’s head or is she real) By uses overly bright cloths and accessories she will contrast against her surroundings and Sam.
