This paper presents a study investigating factors that influence attitudes towards knowledge sharing behavior. The study examined 3 variables: extrinsic motivation, absorptive capacity, and channel richness. A survey of 75 undergraduate students found that absorptive capacity and channel richness positively influenced attitudes towards knowledge sharing, but extrinsic motivation did not. However, the study had some limitations in sample size and definitions that reduce the implications. Overall, the paper provides a framework for understanding knowledge sharing attitudes but further research is needed to generalize the findings.
