Abstract: This project implements a portable printed circuit board drilling machine which is
capable of drilling a circuit board layout based on NC files output from a CAD application. The
machine drills holes at the correct points on the board, based on the input from the file. The
project addresses the challenges of integrating all of these different hardware and software
components as computer software, parallel port interface, PIC microcontrollers and a motor
interface hardware circuit.
