Introduction With our Deposit Payment extension for Magento 2, you can allow your customers to pay a deposit amount during the purchase and the remaining amount can be paid in one or multiple instalments. It is extremely easy for the admin to create payment plans, manage orders, interact with customers through personalized notifications and more. This Magento2 Deposit payment extension is especially useful for businesses which sell expensive products as it lets the customers to pay hefty amounts with instalments.
- 3. Deposit payment enabled product page Customers can choose appropriate instalment plan and can add products to the cart. These instalment options are created by the admin from the backend.
- 4. Extension configuration After buying the extension, you can configure by navigating here through Magento backend. You can access your serial key from My account dashboard and enter here to activate the module. - 13. Discount and Shipping calculations When the deposit payment option is applied to “All Products” and “Whole cart”, the admin has a facility to add these discount amount and shipping charges to the down payment amount or to distribute these equally among all instalments.
- 14. Manage product specific Deposit payment features The admin can navigate to the catalogue section and select desired products and “Edit” those to apply deposit payment features specifically to those products.
- 15. Clicking on “Edit” for the desired product helps the admin to set product specific deposit payment features.
- 16. Adding Category image The store admin can upload an image that would be visible on the frontend alongside the product. This is generally used to explain the customers that a particular product is available with deposit payment. - 17. Setting Minimum order amount When deposit payment is applied to “Whole cart”, then the admin has the option to set a minimum order amount. Buyers will be able to place orders with deposit payment facility, only if they purchase products worth more than this amount.
