A Brief Definition*
It’s a new field of Interaction design I’ve been working on that focuses on the Living Interactions that operate as conduits and connections through
spatial macro, micro, and nano-interactions across multiple modes of realities. These realities can be the base reality which is the known existing
rules, or could be new proto-realities that are sedimentary like build-ups of other proto-reality states.
The interactions include all the potential meta-state data. The V.I.A (Virtual Information Architecture), the makeup of the current, anticipated,
trans-formative realities, which contains the states of IA schemas that exist between combining and merging our experiential moments down to
micro & nano-interactions with tangible physical objects, realized digital creations, and the proto-realities that we could create within the worlds
around us. The connection points exist as Virtual Interaction Points (V.I.P) and Physical Interaction Points (P.I.P) across both known, anticipated, and
combined realities. This is expressed through experiences made up of L.I.S. These L.I.S can further be broken down into new yet to be discovered
design patterns, as well as fit into the state of known and common design patterns we apply to more traditional states of interaction within single,
2D, 3D realities.
Think of MDUX as a state of the state of Interaction Design. The state becomes defined by the new build-ups of mixing reality and the perceptions of
those experience it.
