Ideation assignment
VentureLab’s Design Thinking Action Lab course
Student: Giovanni Ruello
Team: Newron Berlin
Preface
Dear Reader,
this Powerpoint is the result of my 2 previous attempts to complete the
“ideation” assignment via Prezi (free online version), as suggested.
Thanks to some stunning bugs and the amazing automatic autosave
option, my hopmeworks were deleted twice. Eight hours of work thrown
away.
I wanted to provide you a fancier presentation, but I am currently running
out of time and energy.
Thanks for your understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Giovanni
This is how my Prezi presentation would had looked like.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Nico, a recent graduated engineer needs a way to get connected to
someone able to answer his questions about entering the "work
world” because he wants to really understand which
job/position/working area could be more suitable for him.
To learn more about Nico, please have a look at his empathy map available at:

MY TOP 3 IDEAS
1. The most practical idea (one that could be easily implemented)
Drinks, informal meetings with local professionals, where open
questions can be carried out and some networking can be established.
2. The most disruptive idea (one that would make a huge impact)
6 months of compulsory graduate program, where the student has the
possibility of expressing some areas of interest (3) and switch between
different departments and tasks.
3. My favorite idea
Creation of an university online community / social network speific for
university-to-job transition, connecting students in the last year of
studies to university alumni or other professionals
Thank You.
I look forward to read your remarks.
