Editing checklist 2012

Editing checklist 2012
- 1. Editing checklist Have youchecked these things before you show the teacher? 1. You have full-stops and capital letters in the right places. 2. You have re-read through your work, saying it quietly to yourself to see if it sounds right? 3. You have had a try at spelling words you are unsure about in your books, underline your try, so you know you still need to find the correct way of spelling the word. Make sure your try has the correct sounds in it. 4. If you still need to find your word, use a dictionary, or the word wall to help you. 5. You have looked through your writing to see if you can change some words that mean the same. This might make your work sound really interesting! (Synonyms). 6. You have selected some appropriate language resources that makes your story more sophisticated, and they make sense. 7. You have used words from the word wall that make sense in your story.
