ADOBE PREMIERE PRO Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 is a timeline-based video editing software application which enables you to compress all your footage together and edit parts to create a finished video. I will use this software throughout the project to produce a professional looking music video. I will begin by downloading all my raw footage and placing parts into the timeline and then cut each shot following my proposed ideas discussed on my shot list and storyboard. Once I have cut my footage I can begin to focus on editing selected scenes of my video and join it all together to complete a well established music video. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Adobe Photoshop CS6 is a raster graphics editor which enables you to edit and compose images in multiple layers and supports masks, alpha compositing and several colour models including RGB, CMYK, Lab color space spot color and duotone. Photoshop will play a key part in the production of my ancillary tasks including my magazine advertisement and digipak. I will primarily use the software to edit photos for my ancillary products as the programme offers a wide selection of different tools to edit each photo with, giving a professional finish. From working with Photoshop last year as part of my music magazine for my foundation portfolio I feel confident using the programme and will not waste any time watching tutorials and configuring the settings of the programme. ADOBE INDESIGN Adobe InDesign CS6 is a desktop publishing software application that can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books.The programme is most popular among graphic designers and production artists. I will use the programme to create my magazine advertisement and digipak. After using this programme to create my music magazine for my foundation portfolio I am already familiar with how the programme works and the different tools the programme offers. Below is a list of some of the tools the programme offers: • Eyedropper tool • Rectangle Frame • Type tool/Type on a Path tool • Page tool • Anchor Point
- 5. AdobeAfter EffectsCS6 is a digital visual effects, motion graphics and compositing application that is mostly used in the post-production process of filmmaking and television production. I will use the programme after I have finished editing my footage to enhance the colour of my video. Following my proposal, I plan to just have a black and white music video but after re-considering my ideas I may include colour as well. I will predominately include the colour blue as the colour follows connotations of sadness and sorrow, feelings which are emphasised throughout my music video. Overall, I believe adobe after effects will enhance the quality of my product, making it a professional, high-quality music video.
