  Planning the Frontcover – Music Magazine Naomi Hall

  Title for themagazine The title I have chosen for the magazine is ‘IMPACT’. I decided to use this as it is a original name and I think is appropriate for the name of a music magazine. Also doing some tests with the name and making some small mock ups I thought that this name would be good. I have also decided to use capital letters as this has more of an impact which also relates back to the name.

  Fonts for themagazine masthead These are the fonts I have chosen to experiment with for the masthead on the front cover. As the name of the magazine I am developing is called ‘IMPACT’ I needed a style font that is appropriate. All of these fonts I am looking at I think create a impact and would look good on the front cover. After getting the opinions of peers they said that the best fonts were the 4 th and 5 th . After doing some further primary research I have decided to use the 5 th font as this has the most impact to it.

  Chosen Font As the name of the magazine I am developing is called ‘IMPACT’ I needed a style font that is appropriate. Looking at the other fonts I have chosen this one as I like the cracked glass effect and I think is appropriate and relates back to the title.
• 5.
  Colour Scheme Idecided to test the chosen font style on the different colours for the magazine. These pictures show what the font looks like on most of the colours and on greyscale. This helped to give me an idea of what colour scheme to use on the front cover.
