  THE BIG 6 TheBig 6 is a name given to the 6 main film institutions from Hollywood. There used to be more institutions included in the Big 6 but they have either been closed down or taken over by other ones. The big 6 is built from these institutions: - Sony Entertainment - 20th Century Fox - Paramount - Walt Disney Pictures - Warner Brothers Productions - Universal Studios There is usually companies of the Big 6 who are involved in the spreading of the indie films.

  UNIVERSAL • Universal Studios(also knows as Universal Pictures, or simply Universal) is an American Film Studio. It was founded in in 1912 and is the worlds 4th most oldest major film studio. They have released loads of well known films such as King Kong, Jurassic Park, E.T, Jaws, The Purge and many more. Universal Studios are more into Target Audiences of children and families that have more of a happy and action packed feel to it.

  SONY Sony Corporation commonlyknown as Sony, is a Japanese multinational corporation headquarter in Tokyo, Japan. It also includes gaming electronics, professional electronics, entertainment and financial services. Sony has produced many famous films such as Spiderman, Men and Black 3 and The Karate Kid. Sony entered the television and film production market when it developed Columbia Pictures Entertainment in 1989 for $3.4 billion.

  WHICH ONE ISBEST FOR MY FILM? The film institution that I would pick to distribute my film production would be Universal Studios as it has worked with loads of independent films before and they have been very successful. They would work well with A&L Production and wouldn’t have any problem with doing so. They think that the smaller the film company the more they contribute towards the film industry so I think they would work with A&L Productions. Due to them releasing a lot of family and children films I think ours would fit well in as our film is a romantic comedy and has a heart felt finish to it.
