The student used various media technologies for researching, planning, constructing, and evaluating their horror trailer project. For research, they used YouTube to view other horror trailers for inspiration, and IMDB for information on films, directors, and plots. Photoshop was used to create ancillary products like posters and magazines, Premiere for editing footage and adding music/effects to the trailer, and After Effects for additional editing. For evaluation, they used Blogger to publish work online, Facebook to gather feedback, uploaded the rough cut to YouTube, and filmed an in-class screening for peer evaluation.
