  Using Photoshop • Lastyear was the first time I had ever used Photoshop, and that was for media and photography, this year I am a lot more confident and have become skillful at using it. For example… Using different photo editing skills such as changing the curve of the image I am able to change the lighting and get rid of any shadowing to make the photo fit the genre of indie.

  Here I have demonstratedhow with Photoshop you are able to use a variety of fonts to ensure that it best fits your genre of magazine, for mine I decided on using a wide variety in order to appeal to the youth. As you can see in the image on the right there were many different fonts that I was able to get off of Photoshop When making the magazine I had to ensure everything fir into place, with the free transform tool I am able to manipulate the size of the pictures in order to take up a specific amount of space or fit into the magazine.

  Prezi and Slideshare Iused Slideshare for some of my research and planning and for my some of my evaluation questions. This was effective as it allowed me to easily place PowerPoint's onto my blog. It is easy to use and is a good way of making your work look more professional and unique. Prezi is a lot more complicated than Slideshare to use but once you have adjusted to it you can benefit largely from it. It is a very creative way to set up a presentation or some work, I have used Prezi for 2 of my evaluation questions.

  Pixlr • Pixlr isa photo editing website which is easy to use and can add great affects to any images.

  Nikon D3200 The NikonD3200 is the camera I used in Order to take the photos for my magazine. It’s settings allow for amateur and Professional photographers a like to capture The best images. While using the camera I was not very Adventurous with the settings, I used either Automatic or portrait in order to take the Photos, this was effective in capturing good Quality images.
