Evaluation task 5 how did you attract

  Evaluation Task 5-Howdid you attract/address your audience By William Shehadeh

  Target Audience • We wanted our target audience to be in the range of 18-25 year old because our lead actor and actress are in that range and I believe that that the target audience can relate to the video. Because the lead actress was considered to be attractive I believe that our target audience could be mainly boys

  • At the start of the sequence we wanted to have that tense feel, to do this we put in close up shots of the actors to make it feel up close and personal.
• 4.
  Why our targetaudience would want to watch our violence theme. • In our thriller we have an element of violence. This is shown when the main character briefly stabs the other character, which shown as being in his thoughts. There was also shot within the opening title sequence where main character was drawing an ear conveying a sense of weirdness. I believe that our target audience would watch violence because it will entertain our audience.

  • We added an unexpected scene where he try’s to stab her neck with a pencil and try’s to create a unexpected reaction. Also we added sound effects for example a stab effect and layered sounds of him shouting to help emphasise the effect of surprised.
