 Yard Management is part of EWM functionality.

 Yard Management can be implemented in ECC or SCM.

[ Basic Data Entity of Yard Management
 A vehicle needs to exist prior to tracking yard activities. A
vehicle can be created as standalone or with reference to a
shipping or delivery document. A vehicle can be created as a
means of transport(tractor) or transport equipment(trailer).
 YM utilizes the handling unit(HU) to represent a vehicle in the
yard.
