This document summarizes the course requirements for A2 Media Studies, which consists of two units worth 50% each:
1) G324 Advanced Portfolio in Media coursework including a promotional music video package with a video, album digipak, and magazine ad.
2) G325 Critical Perspectives exam with a section evaluating skills development and a media production, and a section on contemporary media regulation.
The music video package for G324 must promote a brand identity and have related ancillary texts within 3-5 minutes. G325 requires writing about skills and evaluating a past production, as well as discussing arguments for and effectiveness of media regulation.
