designed for ready
availability, use or
consumption and sold at
eating establishments for
quick availability or take-
out.
 To get a better
understand of it– KFC,
Mac Donald’s & Pizza
Hut are good examples.

The majority of students surveyed felt that convenience is the
most important factor in leading people to frequent fast food
restaurants.
Why do you think people frequent fast
food restaurant ?
Fast food is very popular among the teenagers
because it’s both tasty and convenient.
- We know that fast foods have a negative impact
on our health, but we still choose to consume
fast foods at least once a month.
Students aged 13 to 18Target Audiencs:
 The obesity levels are increasing.
 Major cause of heart disease, diabetes
and some cancers. Worldwide, about 22 million
children under age five are estimated to be
obese or overweight.
 High sodium intake (French Fries) is associated
with higher blood pressure.
 Foods containing sugars and starch can
promote tooth decay.
 Keep portion sizes small
 GO GREEN–order a side salad with your
sandwich instead of fries
 eat fruits and vegetables, in which they are rich
in potassium and may help decrease blood
pressure.
 Choose foods with less amount of salts.
We have proven that fast food chains do offer healthy
choices on their menus, though some are
unhealthy (eg. Fries), and the choice lies in the
hand of consumers, hence we have to choose
wisely and our reasons are as follow:
1. In recent years, fast food restaurant are
increasingly more inclined to the healthier side.
Examples are the introduction of apple dippers,
more vegetables in Mac Donalds and corn
cup.
2. However unhealthy choices such as fries and
soft drinks are still present. Knowing these food
poses a threat to our health, we should avoid
them.
Conclusion
 Because Healthy food leads to healthy living.
So eat good, Live good.
