FIWARE accelerator projects 2015
FIWARE is an open source platform that provides technologies to boost businesses. It has launched calls for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and startups across Europe, distributing 80M€ through various FIWARE accelerators. The accelerators focus on domains like smart cities, eHealth, transport, energy, environment, media and more. They provide funding of 10,000-250,000€ to take ideas to market. Several accelerators were highlighted along with their focus areas and current/upcoming open calls.

- #4 CONCORD is a Coordination Action for facilitating and supporting the Future Internet Public-Private Partnership programme (FI-PPP). Increase the effectiveness of business processes and infrastructures supporting applications in areas such as transport, health, and energy. Derive innovative business models that strengthen the competitive position of European industry in sectors such as telecommunication, mobile devices, software and services, and content provision and media.
