   1120 pupilsaged 7-14  1 central schools + 4 local schools in the neighbouring area  Different names ‘Put Bokanjca’  English was studied from the grade 4  Second language in grade 4 (French, Italian )  980 pupils aged 7-14,more 1st graders  the same situation today  Name of the school given some 25 years ago after the first Croatian grammarian Bartol Kašić from the 16th century  English as the obligatory school subject from the 1st grade some 10 years ago  Second language ( Italian, German ) from grade 4

   Two shifts:morning and afternoon  Morning shift: 8-1.10 p.m.  Afternoon shift: 2.p.m. – 7.10. p.m.  Several optional subjects: Religious Education, ICT, Second language ( Italian or German from grade 4 ( reduced number of hours a week)  Many extra school activities ( drama group, Maths, Extra Geography, web -English, eTwinning Projects, sports, ecology, literal, young librarians, music-choir...  English: classes in lower grades: 1-4 ( 2 lessons a week )  English in higher classes ( 5-8) – 3 lessons a week  One lesson lasts 45 minutes  Break (5’) after every lesson  Breakfast-break: after 3rd lesson  One class with a whole day stay ( meals included)

  eTwinning Projects  45eTwinning Projects  2009-2015 ( our 6 year taking part in eTwinning)  17 EQLs and QLs in 6 year-time  Runner up with Mathematicomix in 2012  The rewarded Prioject in the Contest for the best European eTwinning Project in 2013 in the Year of Citizenship with ‘Our Political Party’ (with Greece)  Founders in 20 eTwinning Projects with our twins from UK, Romania, Greece, Poland  All areas included: music, maths, literature, art, geography, RE, Biology, ICT, history, sports ( Olympics), a Day of EU languages (in 2 projects)  Numerous tools used ( in cartoonised form, filming; youtube, Animoto, Go- Animate, Storybird,Kizoa...)...  Innovative ‘materials’ as postage stamps-small ambassadors of one’s country used to realise the basic Project ideas  Focused on pupils’ basic initiative & ideas...they serve as our motivators  MEDEA award for ‘ European Chain reaction’ in 2011
