  Proposal 1 Centre Name andNumber: York College 48357 Student Name and Number: Luke Jonathon Bodie Simpson 348719 Project proposal title and date: Third Eye Main area of activity: The main medium of my film I will work in film. The reason why I want to work in film is because it is what I am passionate in. I loved making my film at the end of the first year in our first FMP. For that arson and my love of films I wanted to make a film Rationale: During my time here I have learned a lot of techniques. Before I came to college, I knew nothing about adobe premiere pro and editing so for the first few months we just learned the basics which was very good for me because I can use all of these basics in my other films. The main thing that I learned is how to edit and pace my film, this was a good thing to learn because if you use different edits or pace it differently it will give the film a different feel. During the time at the college we studied short films, documentaries and cliental work. I will use some of the techniques I have use in other projects such as how I should pace my film I learned last year that I shouldn’t rush my film and I should slow it down and add more detail in the film. My film is going to be similar to the one I did last year so I should really take the pacing in hand that I learned last year and I could take some of the effects I used in my last project into my new project. Project Concept: The concept for my project will be about this paranoid person who wants to make sure his house is safe so he has this unto date security system and he is always looking to upgrade it but while he is looking at a new system his computer gets hacks and his computer gets hacked and his computer starts glitching. He then goes and checks his other cameras and he sees a guy peeking around the corner of his garden. This guy hacks his camera and It looks like he is glitching forward without moving. The paranoid person get scared and runs into his panic room and he thinks he is safe when he is down there but the power cuts out and he is left in the dark alone. When the power switches back on the guy is in front of him and then jumps at him. It then will cut to a news scene and the news anchor talks about the disappearance of this person and hen say that it is the third this week. Then he goes and talks bout the security company Third Eye saying that their sales and stocks are rising. While this is happening the camera pulls out reviling lots of TVS after the broadcast has finished all the TVs start to turn on and then it will cut to black

  Proposal 2 Techniques: I have alreadythought of a few techniques and effects I could use in my film but the main one that I am thinking of are CCTV shots and the different effects I could use. The different ways I could make it and different ways it could use the effect such as them popping up on the monitor, left on the monitor or a POV shot of someone or something from the camera Research: The research I will need to conduct to help my product I will look at my main audience. This will help me what I should aim my film at and how I should make it catering to the certain audience in my case it will be males aged 18-35. I will also need to look at different films especially thriller films this will help me through my research because I can look how similar films are made and how they are catted to their audience and how well it did in the box office. The main films I will look at will be Enemy Of The State, Zodiac, Panic Room and Se7en. How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: When it is time to evaluate my FMP I would try and get multiple ways of evaluating my FMP one of the main ways I would do it is through our weekly reflections that I will be doing. At the end of every week I will wright what I did throughout that week and what worked and what didn’t. What I will also to evaluate my FMP is that I will ask my friends and family to have a look at my film and say what they liked about my film and what they didn’t like about my film and I could write that into my project. What I will also do is I will look over it myself. Will see what turned out well and what I could change for the next time I made a thriller film I will outline some mistakes I made and how I could fix it for next time

Week Tasks to be Completed: Specific Tasks 1 Pre-production  I will start doing my pre proposal  I will also start the beginning of my FMP looking at things that will inspire me while doing my FMP and what I could use in my FMP 2 Pre-production  I will do some research for my FMP  I will look at different films that link to my film such as Enemy Of The State and panic room  I will also look the audience and what my audience likes and what they are interested in so I will do a survey 3 Pre-production  In this week I will carry on doing research I will look at audience certification.  I will look at some production techniques and how I will use them.  I will also write my premise  I will make a story board  And I will also do a contingency form. 4 Pre-production  I will start in making a proposal for my film this will take me a couple of days because I need to do a little research and also my premise of my film and also how I will evaluate my FMP this will take me a while so I will dedicate a week for it 5 Pre-production  In this week I will focus on doing my problem solving.

  Proposal 4  Do acamera audit form  I will also check over my research 6 Pre-production  This week I will start planning.  I will look at locations, where I will film.  Talk about finance  Time. How much time I will have  My personnel  Talk about meetings and also set up some meetings 7 Pre-production  I will be doing more planning.  Talking about equipment  Talk about post production  Health and safety  I will write my script for my film and I will also put down my resources 8 Production  In this week I will be shooting and getting a base edit of my ending of my film and putting the effects in it so I have a base to work with  On the Sunday I will shoot my film at my house 9 Production  In this first week I will get a base edit of my film  And I will make my intro 10 Production  I will start to edit my edit making it more clean and make it pace well  I will also start on some sound effects.  I will also be starting my score 11 Production  Draft peer feedback  I will listen to there feedback and from tat this week I will edit my film to do what they say. 12 Production  I will start doing more sound effects and visual effects mainly focusing on CCTV effects  I will also be doing more on my score 13 Production  I in this week I will try and finish adding all the effects and sound effects in.  I will also finish off my score and input that into my film. 14 Production  I will finish by doing my credits and make sure everything is flowing as it should 15 Evaluation  I will start my evaluation  Talk about how my research went and did I miss any opportunities  Talk about my final concept  Talk about my planning and production and post production  Talk about any problems I had  And talk about if I met my expectations 16 Evaluation  I will finish off all of my evaluations and also make sure all of my production reflections are done 17 Evaluation  I will be making a presentation to show how I will present my film.
