Assistant Operations Officer/Squadron Training Officer May 2014 - Dec 2014  Created operational schedules for a Squadron of (700) Marines and (200) Tactical Vehicles.  Ensured the fluid execution of daily operations for the Battalion's (4) companies.  As the Squadron Readiness Officer,significantly reduced the Squadron's Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS-MC) from (40) to (5) hours by creating and implementing an outline for all involved personnel to follow.  As Physical Security Officer, created the plan that ensured the safety of 700 personnel, 200 vehicles, and over 1,000 weapons / serialized equipment.  Conducted coordination and follow-ups to accomplish tasks and milestones in the planning and preparation of Aviation Ground Support (AGS) tasks and Training Effectiveness Evaluation Plan (TEEP) events.  Ensured reports and communications, including orders, confirmation briefs, situation reports, and After Action Reports were developed, reviewed and submitted to maintain the situational awareness of the Commanding Officer and staff.  Assisted with the upkeep of the unit TEEP,battle rhythm, and the tracking of all tasks.  Provided guidance and ensured the professional development of all Marines in my section.  As Unit Readiness Officer, supervise the compilation and submission of the Unit Status Report in Defense Readiness Reporting System and the monthly Air Ground Support Readiness Brief.  Coordinated the setup and preparation for weekly office meetings. Officer in Training Jun 2012 - Nov 2013  The Officer Basic Course is a strenuous academy where officers are taught an equivalent of 5 semesters of college education in 6 months through classroom, field, and practical application training on weapons,tactics, leadership and protocol  Classroom events included platform instruction, tactical decision scenarios, sand table exercises, decision-forcing cases,and small group discussions.

  NYC Dept. ofParks LifeguardManager May 2008 – June 2012  Responsible for creating a complex work schedule which involved over 42 employees, 16 lifeguard posts, and a quick reaction force always ready to respond to any emergency.  Ensured every lifeguard post was manned at all times to provide safety for over 2500 daily facility patrons.  Ensured every lifeguard had all required equipment and were relieved on time.  Responsible for ensuring that all employees had equal time off, and were paid the right amount at the correct time.  Acted as the public face for all the facilities’ employees when dealing with facility patrons and outside organizations, to include the New York Police Department and NY Fire Department.
