Themes such as the European business environment, shifting towards new energies and ‘the currently biggest challenge that society has to face’ were discussed. CASE STUDY · Frank Rösiger, BASF SE Frank Rösiger spoke to the audience about production planning and productivity – implementing a successful production planning system & integrating a local supply chain management system to reduce time to market and to reach shop floor excellence, and gave insights on the integration of supply and demand planning, forecasts and performance management. CASE STUDY · Dr. Johannes Eickmans, Bayer Material Science AG Dr. Johannes Eickmans presented his Case Study “Implementation of a Global System for Production Loss Accounting”. CASE STUDY · Heiko Mennerich, Evonik Industries AG Heiko Mennerich delivered the Case Study “Sometimes! – The Improvement Process of our Production Units has to be simplified”, whereby he looked into the operating behaviors of companies concerning energy, bottom up approaches and integration of a local excellence team.
