Etymology of the
        word "Gothic"
•   The gothic word comes the term Goth, and is a derogatory way of
    calling the Germanic tribe of the "Goths" who invaded Rome. This
    was a barbarous people.

•   It was first introduced by Florentine art historian Giorgio Vasari
    in the sixteenth century who wanted to define the dark art of the
    Middle Ages against the glorious past of classical antiquity.
Origin
•   The Gothic has its beginnings between 1850 and 1860 in France as a
    movement anti-social header by workers mostly for students living in
    constant oppression by the society system was then, making up their
    faces in white and wearing black gave to understand that the
    oppression was dead.

•   Gothic resurgence in the 80's when punk was in its terms as being
                 ​
    strong, made something like punk, in terms of image, some ideologies

Manners
•   Although much Gothic deny this reality, the followers of this trend
    are strongly linked to occult practices.? Many of the rituals of
    initiation are related to attendance at cemeteries, blood pacts,
    vampirism and even necrophilia.

•   Gothic Phrases:
•   The worst way to miss someone is sitting next to him and know that
    you can never have.
•   Do not expect to be accepted for who you are, if not for what they
    want to be.

•   Neglected carefully combed black, with touches of other colors and
    tufts, pale and sickly complexion, strong preference for black and death
    or religious symbols.

•   Still, some people do not follow a stereotype and who dress normally,

•   Goths try to express themselves through the black of mourning and
    death. Worship and practice any form of art and identify with the
    feelings expressed by the songs of their idols. Most of these "new
    Gothic" had a lonely childhood or rejection. Knowing your history
