The savannah biome has a tropical wet and dry climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. Temperatures range from around 21°C in the African savannah to 30-50°C in the Australian savannah. During the dry season, rainfall is low at around 10cm on average but increases to 37.5-62.5cm during the wet season.
