When building model airplanes, it is important to remove the seams and the joint lines. For most
assemblies, crack and gaps become common through fitting. The most common issues pertain to the
mating lines and wing roots of both sides of the aircraft's fuselage.
Trim off excess plastic having a hobby knife and sand away any jagged edges before putting together
parts with fine-grit sandpaper or perhaps a fine-grit Emory board.
Place a square of leather onto the self healing mat. With a ruler and a fabric marking pen, draw
designs as desired. Cut out the shapes carefully with a craft knife. Spray the back of each piece of
leather with Krylon Spray Adhesive. Adhere the shapes immediately to the blue painted ornament.
Dry completely.
Now take four or five of these guards and a small sharp knife. I like to use X acto knives for my
gourds. But be careful because these are sharp craft knives used predominately in model crafting.
Now cut the top off the gourd. Decide how deep you want your bowl to be and make the cut there.
Cut all the way around and then discard the top of the gourd. Now clean out the inside of the gourd.
Be sure to carefully clean the inside wall using your small knife. Make the cleaning as neat as
possible. Finally you have a lovely little bowl to decorate.
You will be left with a fine booklet, It will take less ink and paper to print and it will be cheaper to
post. Don't forget that many people have no printer and reading off the computer screen can be
tiring so people will thank your making reading your booklet easier for them.
Smooth the paper with your fingertips, starting from the outside working inward. If needed, utilize a
paintbrush to shove the paint into the lead outline. Create graphics that spell "SOAP" or
"BATHROOM" for the bathroom.
