• My project with UI connected me to World Economic Forum (WEF) which then I was assigned
as the WEF advisor to establish another impact investment fund sponsored by WEF in
Indonesia

Project details: Managed corporate partnerships and sales. Got our
bars into Google, Microsoft, Intel, Haas FIFO. (Google is now their
biggest customer) Created Hunger Awareness Month campaign for
Twitter. Also conducted market assessment for new product launch
and developed a new Campus Ambassador Program.

Project Details:
• Worked with EDF’s Oceans Program and Catch Shares Design Center
• Developed a financial model de understand the costs and benefits of reforming and
transitioning fisheries from a traditional management program to a managed access
program (Catch Shares)
• Estimated the ROI for the potential stakeholders involved in a project with these
characteristics
Highlights:
• Built a compelling business case for the Belizean lobster and queen conch fisheries
identifying $2.4 M incremental Cash flows for managed access program scenario vs
Business as Usual scenario.
• Presented business case to potential investors and secured funding to run managed
access programs in Belize

Social Entrepreneurs’ Pit
Stop to provide in-person
mentoring hours for over
40 entrepreneurs during

Erica Butow, Education Pioneers Fellow placed at Harlem Village Academies
• Education Pioneers attracts, prepares, and advances top leaders to
transform education into the best led and managed sector in the
U.S. so that all children receive a high-quality education
• Harlem Village Academies (HVA) is one of the best network of
charter schools in NYC serving more than 1500 children from low
income families from K-12 grades
• Helped to improve schools efficiency by revising and redesigning processes and governance systems
• Developed and led project to foster a culture of making decisions based on evidences
• Conducted diagnosis on local school staff needs and present it to the HVA network leadership
• Empowered schools staff and teachers to use more data by leading training session on analytical skills
• Designed and implemented the “data forum”, sessions on which the data team provides evidence and
conduct discussion about schools policies and management “burning questions”
 The first session led to the revision of the “students retention” policies: data showed that
students who repeated the academic year did not improve in the long term and were more likely
to drop out of school
The Student voice: "Coming to HVA changed my character. This school’s
organization, the good support from each of my teachers, and the
consequences you get for your actions really helped me with my
discipline. HVA is preparing me for my future." - Shanequa, 8th grader
