RESPONSIBILITIES..
Witness the welder's performance qualification test in accordance with ASME Sec. IX and specifications.
Fit Up and Welding Inspection of fabrication and erection for piping and tanks.
Visual inspection of piping and tanks related activities.
Preparation of welding procedure specification (WPS) and recorded the parameters for PQR.
Control of welding activities in accordance with approved WPS and PQR.
Witness the welder's performance qualification test in accordance with ASME Sec. IX and specifications.
Control of Welding activities such as before fit up, during fit up, during welding and after welding as per
relevant WPS and specifications.
Witness and Control of all NDT activities and formulation of all quality documents.
Material Verification Inspection as per requirement.
To prepare the welder qualification record & Issuing of welder’s qualification card according to ASME IX.

Review and Preparation of Test packages (Piping) before submitting to client.
Arrangements for Hydro/Pneumatic testing.
Issue release note to the project execution team for conducting hydro/pneumatic test.
Witness of Hydro/pneumatic testing of Test packages (Piping).
Follow up and witness the remaining inspection for piping systems after hydro test.
Ensure that all inspection requirements for piping systems according to drawings project specifications
and applicable code & standards are fulfilled before handing over to commissioning team.
