- 3. Who am I Anna Ronkainen @ronkaine - legal AI researcher since ~2000 - Chief Scientist and co-founder, TrademarkNow - IAAIL EC member 2016–19 - academic status: it’s complicated - worked in software development all my professional life (yet somehow ended up getting a degree in law)

- 6. Why are we here - legal tech is very much “here” – at least if you’re in the US - Europe is generally quite far behind, and we want to do something about it - local languages and jurisdictions generally require local(ized) solutions - lack of information, lack of transparency
- 7. What’s the purpose of this meetup - bring people together - spread ideas and information - inspire new businesses - create the tech ecosystem needed for a sustainable rule of law in Finland
- 8. What are the plans for this meetup - 2–4 sessions per year - mostly presentations at first, maybe more hands-on stuff (like hackathons) later - meetup communications in English, presentations may also be in Finnish or Swedish (according to the speakers’ preferences)
