Outcome • Haswell limitations were GPU based, model sizes up to 50meg + Video RAM • Broadwell proved a big jump, handling 500meg + models • Integration of CPU and GPU reduces latency and delivers real performance • No hypervisor removes complexity and adds to user experience • Similar to how we deployed Quadro solutions, ‘bare metal delivery’ • Potential to use XenApp to share resource on each processor (2x or 3x users) • Still need to optimize environment
