The Hollard Insurance Group comprising the Hollard Insurance Company and Hollard Life Assurance Company is South Africa’s
largest privately-owned insurance group, established in 1980. While things have progressed since then and Hollard has gone from
strength to strength, the team have never forgotten their roots – long term, genuine and mutually beneficial partnerships remain
at the core of everything they do today. A recent refresh in Hollard’s corporate identity (never a small undertaking), meant that the
Hollard intranet “MySite” needed to be refreshed by incorporating the new corporate identity, and a unique Hollard flourish.

was to customise the “MySite” functionality to our expanded requirements, and to ensure that our new brand

• Add additional user properties that are relevant to Hollard
• Customise & implement the Profile Page in line with Hollard’s design.

Hollard’s previous “MySite” and profile page on their intranet had Out of the box functionality which no longer met their needs as
additional functionality was required to make it their own. Hollard’s branding was previously not included in their MySites, and
they wanted to rectify this to fit in with their CI and Brand objectives, which they drive hard. Mint implemented the design and
requirements as provided by Hollard’s marketing department.

Internal Marketing initiatives/campaigns were supported
by the follow through of the CI
More staff were attracted to use the site, and keep their
MySite Profiles updated
The project encompasses Hollard’s culture of “living the
Hollard Brand”
Updated staff profiles are readily available internally to
assist in identifying potential skills & experience required
for new projects/vacancies
MySite allows staff to “get to know” colleagues through
the information available through the MySite portal
