People usually are outside the home for many
reasons like travelling and they want to control
some devices from a far distance.
Examples:
Want to fill the water tank.
Want to turn off the light and electronic devices
at rooms.
Get feedback about the temperature.
Total control on your home.
OBJECTIVE
Objective of Home Automation is to connect all the devices to
Internet using IoT such as :-
 For security of your Home
 Monitor Home devices from anywhere in World
 Monitor LPG & Fire Alarm
 Control Door Lock with keypad And android App
 Some basic features like Water over flow control , Automatic
day light and all other features.

 What is A Home Automation ?
It gives us access to control devices in our homes from mobile
device anywhere in the world.
It includes Alarm system ,doors, windows ,locks, smoke detectors
,surveillance cameras and many more sensor added to one
Programmable device.

The main piece in technology used is an Arduino
ATmega328 kit attached by Eithernet/Wi-Fi Shield.

For the communication between mobile phone and
microcontroller
Bluetooth module(HC-05) is used.
Temperature Sensor(LM35)
LM35 is a versatile IC used to measure temperature . Its
output increase /decrease whenever temperature changes.
MQ-6 Gas Sensor
 This is a simple-to-use liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sensor, suitable
for sensing LPG (composed of mostly propane and butane)
concentrations in the air.
 The MQ-6 can detect gas concentrations anywhere from 200 to
10000ppm.
 This sensor has a high sensitivity and fast response time.
LCD Display (LM016)

Liquid crystal displays (LCDs) are a commonly used to display
data in devices such as calculators,
microwave ovens, and many other electronic devices..
The 16x2 LCD used in this experiment has a total of 16 pins
Ultrasonic Sensor
An Ultrasonic sensor is a device that can measure the distance to
an object by using sound waves. It measures distance by sending
out a sound wave at a specific frequency and listening for that
sound wave to bounce back. By recording the elapsed time
between the sound wave being generated and the sound wave
bouncing back, it is possible to calculate the distance between the
sonar sensor and the object.
