  Research • To researchfor my trailers of my genre I mainly used the internet and websites such as YouTube, I did this on my HP laptop, it was useful as I was able to effectively carry out my research on the appropriate genre and find things quickly. • Google was also another useful search engine that I used during my research, It allowed me to search for codes and conventions of the horror genre, information about film distributors and how to make a horror trailer effectively, it also allowed me to find out how to make a good magazine and poster to go alongside my trailer • Additionally, my LG G3 phone was also a useful device to use whilst I was doing my research, My phone came in useful to do additional research when I did not have a computer or my laptop available, as I had internet on my phone I was able to do research when necessary • Furthermore, another useful additional source of research was movie channels, watching movie channels such as the horror channel allowed me to to see different types of horror movies. Giving me an insight into mise en scene, sound, editing and cinematography used in the horror genre

  Blogger – Researchand planning • For the majority of the work I posted I used blogger to write it up, Blogger was good to use as it was an easy and effective way to keep track of my progress whilst I was working, I blogged every step that I went along with from the introduction of the project to the evaluation of the project • Blogger was very useful as it allowed me to embed prezis, slide shares, pictures and videos. I used blogger like it was diary, constantly updating it will ideas and the progress of my work

  Laptop and mobilephone – Planning and research • During my planning and research my phone and laptop were very useful technologies. My phone allowed me to organise and meet up with people, it made it easy on making plans and when it is best time for everybody to film • During filming I took a lot of pictures on my phone and I then sent them to my laptop to use for my main product, I also used my laptop a lot when I was not at college, It allowed me to research the many things that I did not have time to research at college

  Construction • In theconstruction stages of my project I used a various amount of programmes and devices. The video camera that I used was a canon legria hf r56, this was a very useful device as it was a handheld camera so it was easy to carry around and it shot in 50 frames per second in 1080p, so this allowed me to get high quality shots for my trailer, alongside the camera I used a tripod so that when needed he camera was still to get perfect footage. After filming the footage I uploaded to my laptop via the SD card which I used in the camera to store it to, I imported to the programme called wondershare filmora to edit and construct my product

  Editing - wondersharefilmora To import files into to programmed I inserted the SD card into the slot on the laptop, clicked filed and imported and selected the files that I wanted to be imported so that I could edit them To edit clips I inserted them into the timeline so that I could edit various things such as the length, volume, brightness and speed To edit the music and voice over, I simply imported the necessary files and added them to the timeline and moved them to the points at which I wanted the voice overs and music, I also controlled the volume by clicking and audio and increasing it To edit between shots, after adding, I simply clicked on transitions, selected the timing of the transitions then added it to the necessary clips Also to add text to clips I simply clicked the text tool, typed what I wanted, then selected the size and font and added it to the clip I wanted to

  Evaluation - Prezi •One very useful application was Prezi, Prezi was useful as it allowed me to present my evaluation in an effective way instead of just posting text in a long essay format. Prezi was free, effective, easy to use and easy to access, it presented my work in a better format, furthermore Prezi was useful as it allowed me to import it, making it quick and easy to use

  Evaluation – Word,PowerPoint and Excel • I used Microsoft excel as part of my evaluation as It was a quick easy effective way to convert my questionnaires from digits and yes no responses into bae charts and pie charts, these were good to use as it helped me with my 3rd evaluation question, it allowed me to present data effectively. I used Microsoft word to write up all of my evaluation questions, I did this because it has a spelling and grammar checking, so I used that then copy and pasted them into PowerPoint. I copied them into PowerPoint cause the slides are presentable and look neat and tidy, after I did this I added various things to the slides such as images.

  Evaluation - YouTube •My video was shared on YouTube, therefore it was easy for everyone to view it as YouTube is a very easy accessible site, anyone can view my video, unless it is on private, it is a site in which users can view, upload and share videos YouTube allows me to see how many times my video has been viewed, how many people have liked it and how many people have commented on it
