1. To create an unlisted hangout on air (HOA), go to the G+ app and click Hangouts, then "Hangouts on Air" to start a new HOA. 2. To make the HOA unlisted, delete the "Public" audience and type the names of people you want to invite in the audience space. Only invited users will receive a link to view the unlisted broadcast. 3. You can start broadcasting now or schedule for later, choosing date, time, and duration. Then click "Share" to email invitations. Invited users click a link to watch.

- 1. How-To: Create an unlisted hangout on air (HOA)
- 2. 1. Go to your apps launcher and find the G+ (Google Plus) app. Click on it to navigate to your G+ page.
- 3. 2. On the left-hand side of your screen, find Hangouts. Click to take you there.
- 4. 3. Now you're ready to find "Hangouts on Air." Click here.
- 5. 4. You will be creating a Hangout on Air.
- 6. 5. To make the Hangout on Air UNLISTED, delete the “Public” Audience. Now you will see “This broadcast will be unlisted and promoted on Google + and YouTube to your audience listed below.” In the Audience space, you will type the Google + names of your group members and your instructor, in order to share a link to your Hangout on Air. Only the people you choose to have a link to your HOA will be able to view your video.
- 7. 6. If you would like to start your broadcast now, choose Now. If you would like to schedule for Later, more options appear and you may choose the date, time, and even duration of your broadcast (30 minutes being the shortest amount of time).
- 8. 7. Then, click on Share! The recipients you chose will be emailed an invitation to your broadcast. All they have to say is that they will Watch, and then they can click on the link to view!
- 9. 8. You will see a notification in your Google Plus updates if the recipient accepts your invitation.
- 10. 9. This is what your Start page will look like in Google +. Under the Details, you will find the date and time you chose, along with who is going to watch. You can also invite more people to view.
- 11. 10. Your Google + account is connected to your YouTube account, so that your HOA will broadcast to YouTube as well. Accept the Terms of Agreement by checking the box stating that the content you will be broadcasting is your content and is appropriate.
